American Cancer Society has research, education and patient service programs to help cancer patients and their families cope with cancer. The Reach to Recovery program offers visits from volunteers who have had breast cancer.
NABCO: The National Alliance of Breast Cancer Organizations provides information and referrals to anyone with questions about breast cancer.
National Lymphedema Network provides education and guidance to lymphadema patients, professionals, and the public.
Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization offers a national hotline, peer-support groups, volunteer matching, education materials, early detection workshops and many local chapters.
Locks of Love is a nonprofit organization that provides custom vacuum-cap hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children with long-term medical hair loss. |
